Infrared cabins sip electricity compared with traditional saunas. Pick a model and see exactly what each session costs you.
Why sessions are so cheap
A 1,600W cabin running a 45-minute session uses about 1.2 kWh — roughly what a hair dryer uses in the same time. At the US average of ~$0.17/kWh, that's abouttwenty cents a session. The blanket models (350–420W) cost under a dime.
Traditional Finnish saunas draw 6,000–9,000W and heat a much larger air volume, which is why they cost 4–6× more per session. Infrared heats you, not the room — that's the whole efficiency story.
